As the only manufacturer of metal whistles in the United States, we proudly stand head and shoulders above all competitors. Our company was founded in 1956 as Colsoff Manufacturing and was purchased by another owner in 1987. In January of 2018, the company was purchased by the current owners. With a drive and interest to develop new products and push innovation, the new owners are setting up to develop new products that compliment the Classic Brass whistle. 

Our staff consists of dedicated individuals who strive every day to put their best into the creation of solid brass whistles made to last a lifetime. We always remember that our whistles are safety tools and that a person's life may depend on the attention-getting blast of an American Whistle.

Our Factory

Since American Whistle Corporation is the only manufacturer of metal whistles in the United States it goes without saying that our plant is a unique, one-of-a-kind facility. Our processes begin with coiled brass, 30-ton presses, state-of-the-art soldering tables, and continue on through polishing, specialized plating processes and FINALLY - putting the ball INSIDE the whistle.
